In my studio, I invite all students to just show up for a class! Students are always welcome to bring their own fabric and supplies, but sometimes a big supply list can take the fun out of taking a class or add another 'to do' to your long list.

My online courses bring this experience to anyone! Projects include illustrated instructions, a supply kit with project specific materials, a video class, instructor support and access to my Facebook Group.

What I love most about these courses is that the videos and patterns are yours to keep forever. Whether you want to make another one next week or next year, you can always gather your own supplies or grab another kit and refer back to your pattern and video class.

Now you will always have a stylish shopping bag handy! These bags are designed to fold up into the pocket so you can toss them in your purse and take them anywhere. With just (2) half yards of fabric you will have a fully lined and sturdy bag. The pattern makes the most of the fabric with very little waste. The lining not only adds strength, but also means no exposed seams and makes the bag reversible. One trip to the market and everyone will be asking where you got your bag!

½ yard of exterior fabric (quilting cotton)
½ yard of interior fabric (quilting cotton)

This sewing pattern is designed to teach new or young sewers how to follow sewing instructions. Students with a little experience may be able to follow by themselves. Younger students may need help, but read the directions carefully together and encourage them to figure out each step. This is a simple project, so the focus can really be on reading and following each step.
